Starting Work on the Vehicle
Starting a job
NOTE: For the most up to date information on Request and Job status in Jobvious, please REFRESH your browser window.
Click on “Jobs” in the left main navigation panel, and you’ll be shown a list of the work that you have booked, either in-progress or waiting to start.
Vehicles that are checked in and ready to start will. have the empty battery indicator icon next to them in the list.
Vehicles that are already being worked on will have the 50% battery icon displayed.
You can view the detail of each job by selecting it from the list.
The list is displayed in order of Due Date.
The lower panel shows the VIN number of the vehicle so you can check it, and the name of the service that’s required.
If there is more than one service on the job, you can scroll through them using the numbered buttons in the panel. Each will have a specific start date.
If the service requires specific materials and potentially a template for a cutting software tool, you can enter the information here to keep track of it. We’ll be adding more functionality around this at a later date.
To start the work on each service, click the “Start” button.
The dealer/customer will be notified that you have started when you begin the first service.
If for whatever reason the customer has cancelled at this late stage, you can delete the job from your calendar.
