Answering a request
Click on “Requestimates” in the left main navigation panel, and you’ll be shown a list of the requests that you’ve been sent by dealers and the list of open estimates you have. You can view the detail of each request by selecting it from the list.
This request list shows you ALL the requests that are waiting for you to respond to dealers.
The list is displayed in order of Due Date.
The lower panel will show a list of work items needed to complete.
Jobvious has already searched your calendar to find the optimum time for you to complete the work and has held those dates on for you.
If you can do the job, confirm the start date and click “Accept”.
If you want to pick a different start date, you can, but you will only be shown the dates that are limited to when the car is available from the dealer and the due date and the dates you are available to complete the work.
The request will now be removed from your list.
If you are interested, the dealer will be notified, and the request is removed from your list. It will be added to your calendar as a Pending job, meaning that you should keep it in mind when you are offered other work. This will be shown as Orange dates on your calendar.
If the dealer assigns you the work, you will receive a message and the pending job will become scheduled on your calendar. You are now committed to getting that work done by the Due Date.
If the dealer assigns the work to a different specialist, then the held dates on your calendar will be freed up for you to book other work.
If you decide you don’t want to take the job, just select “Reject” and we’ll remove the work from your calendar and list.
